Orchid Paradise Bliss

After breakfast, head to Dirang (4910 ft). Along the way, stop by the Tippi Orchid Centre. Arunachal, known as the 'Orchid Paradise', is celebrated for having the largest range of orchids in India. The Orchidarium at Tippi houses over 500 varieties of orchids found throughout different regions of Arunachal Pradesh. It serves as a leading institution for orchid research and development, operated under the State Forest Research Institute (Department of Environment and Forests, Arunachal Pradesh). Morning after breakfast, drive to Tawang (10,000 ft). En route witness the unique Dirang Valley famous for its monasteries, hot Springs, Apple & kiwi Orchards, sheep breeding farms & charming valleys.  Also witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 13700 ft, the JaswantGarh War Memorial and Jung Falls.  Overnight in Tawang.

Today visit some of the most attractions around Tawang. Visit the two most beautiful lakes at Tawang. The Sangetser lake   Popularly known as the Madhuri Lake. The Sangetserlake is holy for the local Monpas and has also featured in Bollywood when there was a song and dance sequence shot at this lake from the Shahrukh Khan-Madhuri Dixit starrer Koyla. Also visit the Pangateng Tso lake- also known as the PTSO Lake in short.

Continue your journey towards the Bumla Pass, Situated at a height of 15,000 feet above sea level. The border place India and China (The permit and the tour depend on the weather condition). Return to hotel. Overnight at Tawang.
 

Tawang is a stunning region inhabited by the Monpa tribes. Known as ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at an altitude of 3500 meters, it offers unmatched natural beauty. After having breakfast, you can explore the Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, and Ani Gompa. The Tawang Monastery, also referred to as "GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE," is one of the largest Mahayana Lamaseries in Asia and holds the title of the largest of its kind in India. This monastery, which is 400 years old, features an impressive 18-foot tall statue of Lord Buddha and is situated at 10,000 feet, surrounded by the picturesque Himalayan ranges and overlooking the Tawang-Chu valley. The Urgelling Monastery is situated 5 kilometers away from Tawang city and is the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, who was born in the 17th century. The monastery was founded by Lama Urgen Sangpo in the 15th century. Afterward, visit the War Memorial, which honors the valor of the Indian soldiers during the Indo-China war of 1962. Enjoy the light and sound show in the evening. Spend the night in Tawang.

Morning travel back to Bomdila. Perched at an altitude of 8,000 feet, Bomdila is a charming town famous for its Buddhist monasteries, beautiful valleys, and spectacular views of the Himalayas. The evening is available for personal pursuits. Stay overnight in Bomdila.

Following breakfast, head to Guwahati. Check into the hotel. Stay overnight in Guwahati.

If time allows in the morning, visit the Kamakhya temple, then proceed to the Guwahati airport.
