Arrival at Bagdogra International Airport & then proceed to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan by road from India. Phuentsholing is a bustling commercial hub located on the northern boundary of the Indian Plains. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Following breakfast, finalize the immigration procedures and proceed to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) – (170 KMS, approximately 6 hours). This is the capital city of Bhutan. Check into the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay in Thimphu.

Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, serves as the residence for the Royal family. After having breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu. After a brief refresh, head to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), a spot that offers a rejuvenating experience with its massive Buddha statue. Visit the National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, explore the Sangaygang View Point and Changangkha Monastery. Spend the night in Thimphu.

After enjoying breakfast, continue your journey to Punakha/Wangdue, making a stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to admire the higher Himalayas. Upon arriving in Punakha, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong, constructed in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years, it was the seat of the Government until the era of the second king. The Dzong is known as Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha remains the winter home of Je-Khenpo, and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck held the first National Assembly meeting here in 1952. Following this, take a brief excursion to visit Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, commonly referred to as "The Temple of Fertility," which was established by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, and spend the night in Paro.

After breakfast, explore the local sights in Paro, beginning with Ta Dzong - the National Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of Bhutanese artifacts, followed by a visit to Rinpung Dzong - the district's administrative center. In the afternoon, head to Drukgyel Dzong - a fortress that was lost to fire in 1951 and is now maintained as a heritage site, and then visit Kyichu Lhakhang - one of Bhutan's oldest Buddhist temples. Spend the night in Paro.

Early morning meal, then transfer from Paro to Phuentsholing - a journey of about 160 kilometers, taking roughly 6 hours. On the route, make a brief stop at Chukha, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers meet, featuring three distinct styles of stupas embellishing this confluence. Continue driving through Captcha and enjoy views of the renowned Chukha Dam and the stunning Vince waterfall before reaching Gedu town. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, depart from Phuentsholing and head to Bagdogra International Airport. This will mark the conclusion of your journey with cherished memories of Bhutan.
